江戸中期までの"劇場"とは、野原に幔幕を貼るだけの青天井の仮設"劇場"であり、内も外も、演者も観客も、日常も非日常も曖昧な空間だったのではないでしょうか。
2023年某日に神戸の丸山の野原にその土地で廃棄された材料を使ってブリコラージュな劇場を作りました。劇場がそもそも設えられた建築物ではなく、その土地に根ざした素材でその土地の人によって作られていく空間であった時、私たちの身体は空間に対してどのように開かれていくのでしょうか。

Until the mid-Edo period, the "theater" was a temporary, open-ceilinged "theater" with only drapery curtains affixed to the field, a space where inside and outside, performers and audience, the everyday and the extraordinary were all ambiguous.
On a certain day in 2023, we created a bricolage theater in a field in Maruyama, Kobe, using materials discarded in the area. When a theater is not an architectural structure, but a space created by local people with local materials, how does our body open up to the space? This video is a record of "Building a Theater in the Field (WIP)".

Crows build nests using plastic plastic straws discarded by humans. They seem to be the pioneers of bricolage architectur!
